My top 4 parameters in picking tokens as a new investor would be as follows:
- Look in their space for leaders. A protocol which has grown and innovated consistently over a minimum period of couple of years. If it’s longer, it’s better than that.
2. Look for project which have rewarded good. Always good to see promoters who recompense their token holders.

3. Look for projects with strong moats that prevent their stronghold from becoming competitive and taking market share. This is a great attraction for me and there are many such protocols today.
4. I would finally propose returning to the old rule of looking at a company’s APR. This seems to me to be very old school in Tesla’s time, with meteoric APRs, but many successful investors kept an eye on this and only entered it when it turned out to be attractive.
